The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria was in need of an agency to write and design an internal communications campaign.

Having worked with the Global Fund previously, we first reviewed and refreshed our stakeholder analysis. Then, we carried out a series of interviews with recent clients of OIG services to validate and upgrade this research while collecting testimonials that fed into the communications campaign messaging.
We designed a sub-brand for the campaign in a style that complemented the primary Global Fund brand and linked to two previous internal campaigns, I Speak Out Now and We Speak Together. As in these previous campaigns, we used an approachable, illustrative style. The knot in the logo represents cooperation, collaboration and trust – primary communications objectives of the campaign.
Based on our research and interviews we produced a selection of key campaign messages structured around the OIG’s USPs, differentiation and proofs of concept. The key messages and brand design were versioned into a multidimensional print and digital campaign, including a digital presentation, posters, trifold, brochure and brand collateral, such as post-it notes and pens. These materials were presented at a series of internal meetings and distributed throughout the relevant areas in the Global Fund offices.
